I remember very well the first time I tried this wine… I was impressed by its structure and complexity because it was like drinking red wine but with a lighter and leaner body. This wine is versatile and capable of matching perfectly with many dishes such as molluscs, pasta and risottos. It is a Rosato (Rosé) that does not fear ageing and will create beautiful memorie (memories) to the person who drinks it.

Tasting
The wine expresses the classic Nero d’Avola typical delicate notes of blackberries and cherries. On the palate it is savoury and long-lasting, with an enveloping body that long ageing is supposed to give. At the same time the wine has high acidity and length.
Food pairing
We recommend it with molluscs from oysters to escargots, with fatty fishes such as salmon or trout but also with creamy risottos or fresh pastas with truffles or lobster. It also goes really well with blue cheese at the end of the meal.
