The “Puglia Wine Tour” is a mix of fantastic full-bodied red wines! Puglia is not only the land of Federico II – one of the most important Kings of Italy – but also the reign of full-bodied red wines that are so highly appreciated in Australia.

In this perfect balanced pack, well expressed by Mocavero, will show you the potential of this region, ending with a curios wine of Aglianico and Cabernet Sauvignon. But really… there are no words to describe this journey. You need to taste them yourself!

Fantastic wine with a bit of age. Great structure and the development of tertiary aromas add more complexity to this wine. Mocavero Negro Amaro is a clear expression of the potential age-ability of this grape variety.

Salice Salentino always surprised me for the pleasant fruit profile of the Malvasia mixed with aromas of Negro Amaro. The Mocavero Salice Salentino has the potential to be aged as well. The colour already enhances the structure of this wine. It literally explodes in the mouth with a combination of fruits, spices and dry floral aromas.

This wine is rare in Puglia. Made from an atypical grape variety of Puglia, you can taste the soil and the wine making style. When I first opened this wine, it was close and shy but after putting it in the decanter and leaving it for an hour I had one the most beautiful experiences I ever had. A combination of vegetables, pyrazine notes of the Cabernet and the powerful aromas of Aglianico. The palate is juicy and complex. Perfect with a nice steak.
