This wine offers a fresh and young version of a vine that is usually austere and dry. I like Caudium for this reason. It’s well suited for both: young and experienced palates and goes very well with a nice platter of cold cuts and cheeses.

Tasting
Made from Aglianico grapes and matured in used barrels for six months. The wine has a ruby colour that leans towards garnet and aromas of black cherry, blackberry and violet with hints of underbrush. The harmonious mouthfeel has young tannins and is sapid, fresh and pleasing.
Food pairing
This wine makes a great pairing with Antipasti of Salumi and cheeses and Indian spicy dishes.
