2015 Paolo Scavino Barolo Bric del Fiasc DOCG

A spectacular wine that represents the great work of this producer, bringing a classy and classic expression of Nebbiolo which requires time to develop all its complexity.

One of the first grand cru to be made as single-vineyard Barolo. Image and identity of the Paolo Scavino winery.

The Sant Agata Marl fossils and limestone make this wine a wonderful expression of Barolo. The complex terroir is a mix of Tortonian and Helvetian soils (whitish-grey limestone and yellow grey sandstone), combining great finesse and power.
