The grape of this vineyard comes from a plot smaller than a hectare in Prapo’s vineyard, where only five producers are getting their grapes. Its terrific exposure helps to have an outstanding phenolic presence, and the soil is a mix of brown-orange sand and marlstone veins. This vintage has been a superb wine production of the Scavino family since they bought it in 2008.

Tasting
Rich and complex red wine of the Barolo area. Darker red fruit profile on the nose alternating with spices and dry floral elements and the distinctive sense of tobacco and earth. The palate is generous in the tannins, acidity and minerality.
Food pairing
It pairs well with red meat cooked on BBQ and Indian dishes with curry and is great with flavourful vegetarian dishes.
