2014 Paolo Scavino Monvigliero Barolo DOCG

This Barolo comes from the homonymous vineyard of Monvigliero that can be adequately considered the “grand cru” of Verduno village. This cru was first vinified in 2000 vintage and blended into the Barolo until the 2007 vintage.

This wine brings excellent finesse and aromatic complexity, vivid and compound on the nose. An extremely elegant cru, feminine and full of character.

A fantastic cru of Verduno town located at higher altitude, around 310 metres above sea level, with south-east exposure. Thanks to the limestone soil mixed with chalky veins characteristic of this commune, the wine is delicate and goes really well with truffle dishes.
