I love to have the opportunity to share an outstanding wine from this almost hidden town of the Barolo appellation. Ravera by Scavino is located in Novello at 430 metres above sea level, with a soil composed of Sant’Agata Marl that is crucial to give definition and strength to this wine.

Brilliant ruby colour with a rosehip and violet perfumes and spices like tobacco well alternated by balsamic and fresh elements. The palate is fresh with high acidity and beautiful tannin tension with a harmonious structure.

An excellent pairing with Asian cuisines like Chinese duck, beef and pork. Also, a nice pairing with caponata and vegetarian BBQ.
