See the world through a pink glass of wine!

“Rosato” or Rosé from Italy are vibrant and dry, and their tone varies thanks to Italy’ enormous biodiversity.

Discover influential Italian producers and taste how their wine-making techniques discern each Rosé in your box. What could be better than having a peculiar selection to pair with a wide variety of dishes, any season of the year?

Bertani has always been one of the most traditional families in Valpolicella, producing great wines from indigenous grape varieties. In this rosato (Rosé), there is the addition of Merlot which adds spices and structure to the wine. For this reason you can pair it with more elaborate dishes without needing to pick a red wine.

Tasting

Cherry red colour with purplish highlights. Fresh to the nose, with aromas of white blossoms such as cherry and almond, but also dog-rose, followed by hints of strawberry and cherry. Firm to the palate, good body enlivened by acidity and sapidity. Very long aftertaste.

Food pairing

Great pairing with lobster pasta, grilled scampi and salted cod dishes like the traditional style with potatoes, olives and tomatoes.

Nothing like a nice pink colour in such a fresh wine! Keeping it at a low temperature is pretty much all the care you need to serve and enjoy it. Made 100% from Sangiovese grapes, this wine expresses a very refreshing acidity and spicy notes. This type of grape is very suitable for Rosato style, lending a light colour to the wine.

A wine with an appealing appearance that already hints its great flavours. Light salmon pink in colour and a floral bouquet that recalls roses and star anise, with fruity notes on the finish. A wine with fresh acidity and elegant minerality, it has a sapid closing note and a soft finish.

Food pairing

Created for egg-based dishes, charcuterie, fish and white meats in general, vegetable flans, quiche, soups and summer pasta dishes (especially with seafood sauces) and a variety of fried foods.

An incredible expression of Rosato (Rosé). This wine is made from two of the most important grape varieties in Piemonte, it donates a fresh and elegant taste to any cellar. I also love the packaging because you can appreciate the light pink colour of this beautiful wine. What best matches this wine? Vegetarian or pescetarian dishes and warm summer days!

Food pairing

This wine matches perfectly with vegetarian dishes like pistachio pesto or grilled vegetables, but also with seafood like salmon sashimi or grilled snapper.

I am in love with this wine due to its elegant nature on the nose that switches completely on the palate. The delicate Rosato (Rosé) perfumes transfers its intensity in an explosion of rich flavours given by an indigenous grape variety called Montepulciano, a classic of this region. As Italians, we must add that this wine goes amazingly well with classic regional cuisine like “Vincsigrassi” similar to lasagna.

Goes well with fish dishes, including comfort foods like fish soups and many specialties of Marche’s regional cuisine like “Vincisgrassi” and “Timbales”.

The possibility of having such an exciting grape variety in a rosé is a unique experience! As a great lover of Italian wines, I’m fascinated by the opportunity to taste this rare, but exciting wine that makes the Italian wine scene unparalleled in the world.

Cherry, almost pink coloured wine. The nose evolves into fruity notes of cherry and strawberry, and floral hints of dog rose. In the mouth, it is juicy, pleasant, with a lovely freshness and minerality.

Food pairing

The perfect wine to pair with beef carpaccio, beef tartare, wagyu sushi, tuna steak and cheeses medium-hard.

I remember very well the first time I tried this wine… I was impressed by its structure and complexity because it was like drinking red wine but with a lighter and leaner body. This wine is versatile and capable of matching perfectly with many dishes such as molluscs, pasta and risottos. It is a Rosato (Rosé) that does not fear ageing and will create beautiful memorie (memories) to the person who drinks it.

Tasting

The wine expresses the classic Nero d’Avola typical delicate notes of blackberries and cherries. On the palate it is savoury and long-lasting, with an enveloping body that long ageing is supposed to give. At the same time the wine has high acidity and length.

Food pairing

We recommend it with molluscs from oysters to escargots, with fatty fishes such as salmon or trout but also with creamy risottos or fresh pastas with truffles or lobster. It also goes really well with blue cheese at the end of the meal.
