Tombacco Aglianico del Beneventano

If you love the Aglianico grape, you’ll appreciate this contemporary version we picked just for you. Drink a vibrant and juicy wine that performs well when served in cool temperatures, highlighting its floral and fruity side.

Discover the world’s oldest cultivated grape and Italy’s unknown wine treasure! Savour the deep flavours of this ancient grape cultivated in soils rich with limestone, marble, sandstone, marl, clay, dolomite, and stone elements. Perfect to appreciate on its own or paired with antipasti.

This wine offers a fresh and young version of a vine that is usually austere and dry. I like Caudium for this reason. It’s well suited for both: young and experienced palates and goes very well with a nice platter of cold cuts and cheeses.

Made from Aglianico grapes and matured in used barrels for six months. The wine has a ruby colour that leans towards garnet and aromas of black cherry, blackberry and violet with hints of underbrush. The harmonious mouthfeel has young tannins and is sapid, fresh and pleasing.

This wine pairs well with the Antipasti of Salumi, cheeses, and Indian spicy dishes.
